The woman, a senior French lecturer, was struck by a rubber wrestling plate that rolled down West Avenue from Libe Slope, where the wrestling team was practicing. She suffered a fractured skull, broken ribs, pierced lung, and broken jaw as a result of the injury. Her attorney is seeking significant compensation for the woman’s missed work and past and future medical expenses, saying that the current compensation is not acceptable.

Hopefully she’ll get the workers’ comp she needs. That’s awful. I wish people would be a little more careful.
