A bank teller in North Dakota, filed for workers compensation for anxiety disorder after being held at gunpoint during a robbery at work. The robbery occurred on May 26, the teller was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder after the ordeal. The 56-year-old bank teller was denied of the workers comp because, according to the Workforce Safety and insurance officials, the state does not cover “mental injury arising from a mental stimulus.” Her lawyer is saying that the state should not have denied his clients claim.
