NY Files Suit Against Workers Comp Company

Posted on Thursday, December 10th, 2009 at 10:10 am

A New York State agency has filed a $405 million suit against a company that has helped administer the state’s workers compensation program, alleging fraud. If you or someone you love has been affected by workers compensation fraud, the New Jersey workers compensation attorneys of Levinson & Axelrod may be able to help.

CRM Holdings is accused of deliberately underestimating the workers compensation liabilities for several companies in order to attract business through artificially low costs. The companies were then left with insufficient funds to cover their liabilities. The state’s Attorney General will be filing separate charges.

If you or someone you love has been denied workers compensation benefits that he or she deserves, contact the New Jersey workers compensation lawyers of Levinson & Axelrod by calling 800-346-5529.
