He was on the way to get coffee when he was involved in an accident that resulted in compound fractures in both legs and an arm. Although his employer argued that he wasn’t entitled to disability benefits because he was not at work, the courts ruled that his authorized use of a company vehicle at the time of the accident warranted 100% disability benefits.
